With what seems like a new locally-owned place shutting down weekly lately, we’ve been trying a new local place as often as possible. The food was wonderful and the people making it were even better. Spent maybe 20 minutes speaking with Lala, one of the owners and between her and their food, I think we’ve found our new local pizza place. Pizza was flavorful, crust was wonderful, not too crispy and not soggy. I’m not a pizza connoisseur and couldn’t tell you the difference between a jersey slice or nyc slice or whatever, but this is just great pizza. Antipasto salad was awesome and full of great ingredients. Will 100% done-in next time. Support locally owned restaurants, especially one with food this good.

We visited Goombas kind of on accident, our normal pizza spot was closed, and this was close by. What an outstanding accident. The garlic knots they brought out were the best I’ve had, the service, and especially Lala was wonderful, and the pizza was honestly the best I’ve had in Florida! Not the prettiest place inside, but it was clean, the service and food were amazing!

We had an early dinner after running around all day at 4pm today. The pizza was amazing!! I’m from New York so I know great pizza. It was delicious. We were welcomed like family. The staff was great. The garlic knots were 100% too. We will be back. Thin crispy Ny style pizza. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back. did a shoutout on Facebook too.

Was driving past an seen the place did a u-turn and came back. Upon arriving was promptly greeted with a smile and warm welcome. I ordered the Italian chopped hoagie, which was huge! I couldn't finish the whole thing.I also ordered the mozzarella wedges an with my dinner it came with home made rolls that were to die for!! I had the honorable pleasure of meeting the owner "Lulu" she was a absolutely sweetheart. She said how that all the breads and everything is made in house fresh! I knew when I bit into that sandwich that bread was something different. I will definitely be back!!

The BEST pizza in all of Florida. Genuinely the only pizza I will eat in Ormond Beach. If you’re looking for a pizza that hits every mark (chewy thin crust, salty cheese, bright tomato sauce) this is it. Not to mention Lala is a shining light in the community who always puts a smile on your face. If you haven’t tried Goombas you’re missing out!
